Quincy Outfall Improvements

The Quincy Outfall is a large storm sewer discharging urban runoff into the Park. The Basin Authority rehabilitated a crumbling asphalt path by replacing it with a raised concrete trail and bike path. The new trail embankment detains storm runoff from the Quincy outfall in a large wetlands area for settling, infiltration, and treatment to protect the water quality in the reservoir.
